About Claire Caines

I Believe

Each of us has the answers we need to succeed in life. Sometimes our life experiences conspire to make us lose our own unique voice, the healthy one that guides us along. With the help of a trusted friend, family member, or psychotherapist we can access our inner resources and find our way again.
From my own experience I have learned that hope is the most powerful motivator of all. It is my job as a therapist to open the door to hope for my clients.

Education, Experience and Training

Claire Caines earned a Bachelors degree from Hollins University and a Master of Social Work from New York University.
Claire is a New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers,
a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has twenty-five years of experience dealing extensively with individuals, couples and families.

She is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers and a fellow of the National Board of
Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists.

Claire sees it as her responsibility to continue to learn new methods of helping her clients. As part of her continuing
education she has studied hypnotherapy, new advances in the field of addictions and other clinical areas.
